WORLDS IS GETTING APPREHENSIVE ABOUT INDIA

FEW POWERFUL LINES SHOWING STRENGTH OF INDIA AND WORLD LEADERS APPREHENSIONS ABOUT INDIA AND ITS GROWING POWER......

Thomas Friedman in the New York Times :

'When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, think of the starving children in India and finish the dinner.'

And now I tell my children:

'Finish your homework. Think of the children in India who will make you starve, if you don't.

That indeed was a good one ! Situations are changing and so are perspectives, the issue is that common man has still to come out of the shackles of being a sect and surrender himself to being an Indian...Guess in the story u quoted the only comfort that mother would be having is that we at India are still shackled;with religion, languages, states and even color...
